The Saint Romanos Program

The Saint Romanos Chanters Training Program is designed to teach the Byzantine tones in English as sung in the Antiochian Orthodox tradition.  The course is designed as a self-directed study in Byzantine music using western notation and uses printed music, theory and downloadable audio files.

As of 2023, we are winding down this program as other excellent programs have been and are being produced in the area of Byzantine music.  We will keep the website open until April, 2024 at which time we will no longer renew our subscription.  During this time, you can download student files and music for your continued use.
